Female thug with 47 convictions freed from jail to marry the boyfriend she put in a coma in horrifying street attack
Vicious Kayleigh Blunnie has been released from jail to wed Vincent Nicholson, the fiancee who had to be put in a coma when she attacked him
A THUG who kicked and punched her boyfriend unconscious has been freed from jail so she can marry him.
Kayleigh Blunnie, 30, was behind bars on remand after breaking Vincent Nicholson’s nose and cheekbone when he tried to stop her flirting with another man in the street.
He had to be put in medically-induced coma for treatment to his head injuries.
Judge Emma Peters told Blunnie that she was prepared to take an “exceptional course”.
But she warned the “sustained assault” was “not an ideal start for a relationship”.
She said: “You punched and kicked him, some of the time while he lay unconscious on the ground.
“Mr Nicholson is in court and he must want to marry you in the way you want to marry him.
“I wonder what the future of a marriage is where there has been this background between them. Not an ideal start for a relationship.”
