The site matches young, attractive women with older, wealthy men who offer to take care of them financially.

And the young mum said discovering the ‘sugar baby’ website has been a “blessing”.

Samantha told the : “My biggest fear was having to return to the abusive situation because of financial reasons.”

“I knew this would not benefit me or my children in the long run, so I had to make major changes.”

The part-time housekeeper said using Seeking Arrangement was the only way for her to provide for her kids while still having enough time to see them.

But she added that being a sugar baby did not amount to prostitution.

“I will not be physical with someone unless we have been dating for a while and developed trust and genuine feelings,” she explained.

And the aspiring psychologist – who wants to study at college to help other women who have escaped abusive relationships – said she will support her kids if they decided to follow in her footsteps one day.

But Samantha added that she doesn’t see why they would need to – with her putting half of her earnings into a savings account for them.

Seeking Arrangement is offering the winner of this year’s annual Sugar Baby of the Year contest a role as a brand ambassador.

The victor will also claim a spot on the cover of the 2017 Sugar Baby Calendar, and a cash prize of $10,000 (£8,000).

Company spokesperson Angela Jacob Bermudo told the Mail: “The crown offers a platform for these women – either to promote their businesses or personal brand, or gain attention and funding for a cause, charity, or organization they work with.”

Seeking Arrangement considered the contestants journeys to becoming sugar babies, their future ambitions, and their level of attractiveness when choosing the finalists, Angela explained.

Confident, driven and empathetic women tended to make successful sugar babies, she added.

Fans of the contestants can check out their stories and vote for their favourites before the winner is crowned on November 28.
