Teen and woman among three arrested over ‘murder’ of 79-year-old man found stabbed at home
A TEENAGER is one of three people arrested after an OAP was fatally stabbed at home.
Emergency services raced to a property in Leicester after reports a man, 79, had been stabbed.
Despite paramedics' efforts the man was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
A 17-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder while a 44-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
The teen and man and woman all remained in custody today.
Police are now calling for anyone around who saw or heard anything around Queens Park Way yesterday afternoon or evening to get in touch.

They're also calling for doorbell, dashcam and CCTV footage as part of their murder probe.
Leistershire Police Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector David Greenhalgh, said: “A 79-year-old man has lost his life and we are fully committed to establishing the full circumstances as to how this has happened and who is responsible.
“We have a dedicated team working on the investigation and full support is being provided to the victim’s family.
“Three people currently remain in custody being questioned in connection with the incident.
