Carrie Johnson will call for twisted BA pilot who bludgeoned Joanna Simpson to death to be kept behind bars
CARRIE Johnson will today throw her weight behind the campaign to keep Joanna Simpson's horrific killer behind bars.
Former PM Boris Johnson's wife, who has campaigned for years to reform the Parole Board, will join ex-Home Secretary Priti Patel in piling pressure on Dominic Raab to step in.
Sick Robert Brown is up for automatic release later this year - just 13 years into his 26 year sentence for killing his estranged wife in 2011.
The British Airways pilot brutally hit her over the head 14 times with a hammer - with their kids in the next room - and buried her in a grave he'd dug beforehand.
But he was only convicted of manslaughter due to diminished responsibility, and dodged a murder charge.
Mr Raab said last weekend he would meet with the family after their pleas to speak with him about the failures in their case.

And he vowed to review Brown's parole bid "religiously" after The Sun told how her kids are terrified.
After the recent high profile cases of Zara Aleena, and Terri Harris, who were both killed by two former crims on parole, the family have little faith in the system to keep the public safe from Brown.
Last weekend Joanna’s mother Diana Parkes, 83, launched an appeal to block his release.
She told The Sun: “I worry for everybody because this man is not safe.
"He will stop at nothing and we will be constantly looking over our shoulders. Let common sense please rule the day.
"This man is not fit to be let out. He should stay in jail for at least his full sentence.”
Mrs Johnson will be joined by Ms Patel and Joanna's mum at the event in London to highlight the huge failings in the case and rally Mr Raab to keep him locked up.
Mrs Johnson previously successfully campaigned to keep taxi rapist John Worboys in jail for longer.
She was just 19 when she was a victim of the sex attacker - and later succeeded in reversing a Parole Board decision to free him.
