Moment Croydon tram crash driver is arrested by cops on suspicion of manslaughter after doing 50 on a 12mph bend

THE is the moment cops arrested the driver of the tram that crashed killing seven.
He was held for suspected manslaughter after doing up to 50mph on a 12mph bend.
A woman and six men were killed in South London as the tram careered off rails and skidded on to its side.
More than 50 were injured.
A dad living near the scene of the carnage in East Croydon captured the 42-year-old driver’s arrest on video.
He said: “He did not seem physically hurt. But his face looked pained.”
A teenager was the first of the dead to be named yesterday.
Crystal Palace fan Dane Chinnery, 19, had been on his way to work at a drainage firm.
The driver, who lives in Beckenham, South London, told police he “blacked out” just before the horror just after 6am on Wednesday.
His two-car tram is feared by investigators to have been close to its 50mph top speed — four times the limit at the fork in the tracks where it crashed.
He was still at the scene when cops seized him almost three hours after the horror, which left some survivors having to have limbs amputated.
The witness who filmed his arrest from his back window said: “Two or three policemen led out a man in a Tramlink uniform and put him in a car.
