Mystery as woman’s body found at Brighton beach as cops release photos of tattoos in bid to find her family
MYSTERY surrounds the tragic death of a woman who was found dead on a beach - with cops sharing photos of her tattoos in a bid to identify her.
The woman's body was found at the water's edge on a beach in Brighton shortly after 1.20pm on December 20.
Sussex Police said she is still yet to be identified three months after the discovery.
The woman was described by cops as white, believed to be aged between 20 and 25, around 5'4" and of slim to medium build.
She was found wearing a purple sports bra, dark mauve sports leggings and Converse black boots with the original white trim.
Now cops have released pics of the woman's tattoos in a bid to find her family.

Her tattoos include a diving swallow, a cat's face, an insect pollinating a flower and a cityscape at night.
It is not thought that the woman had been in the water for much more than 24 hours.

Coastguards have suggested that it is possible she entered the water west of Brighton before being moved by tides.
Sussex Police have asked anyone who recognises the tattoos or has any information about the woman to report to them , quoting serial 598 of 20/12.
