Glasgow Central Station – Naked man dies in fall from fourth floor of luxury hotel after ‘dangling out window as cop held his ankles’

A NAKED man who plunged from a fourth floor window at a hotel next to busy Central Station in Glasgow has died from his injuries.
Horrified witnesses say they heard a "thud" as the man, who was being held by cops before the fall, plummeted to the ground.

One horrified witness told how an officer could be seen at the window of the Grand Central Hotel holding the man by his ankles.
He told the : "I looked up and there was this half-naked man being held by the ankles from one of the windows.
“At first I thought it was a joke or a prank.
“But then the man, who was only wearing a top, managed to wriggle free and he fell to the pavement below.”
The incident happened just minutes after the city fell silent for Armistice day.
One witness, who did not want to be named, told the : "There were folk shouting up at the guy and I could hear stuff smashing.
"I thought he was chucking stuff out the window to the street below, but I looked up and I saw the guy was actually hanging out the window.

"The cops had a hold of him, and he was literally hanging out of the window naked with the police holding on to him by his ankles.
"He was wriggling, trying to get away from the cops, and after about five minutes down he went, three floors, and landed on the table in the coffee shop right outside Central Station."
Commuters have been left shaken by the shocking incident.
Robert J Somynne added: “Just saw a man fall from the third floor of the hotel at central station in Glasgow onto the pavement in front of me. Praying for the guy.”
Steven McCart tweeted: "Just saw a naked man fall from the 4 floor of the hotel at central station in Glasgow."
