Sir Philip Green's wife is thought to be behind a company that has spent more than £10million working on a large townhouse.
The couple appear to have gone to some lengths to keep their latest apparent project under wraps.
But on Tuesday, Lady Green was seen visiting the house in Belgravia.
She was dropped off and later whisked away by a Mercedes with darkened windows, which had remained parked outside the property for about two hours.
The the townhouse was sold to Daniel Pittack, a close friend of the Greens, in November 2014.
Then ownership was transferred to Mottistone Holdings Ltd, a newly formed firm based in the British Virgin Islands.
A second address for the offshore company was in Boulevard Princesse Charlotte in Monaco – also the registered office for Lady Green's interior design firm, Green and Mingarelli Design.
Planning applications for the house have included lowering the basement floor, installing a glass roof and a new roof terrace.
