Secret Service warns Donald Trump against watching UFC bout amid security fears
President-elect had accepted invitation from mixed martial art boss Dana White but his security team is trying to talk him out of it
THE Secret Service is advising Donald Trump not to attend a UFC fight this weekend amid fears for his security.
The President-elect had told fight boss Dana White that he was going to come if he won the election.
However, following his surprise victory over Hilary Clinton in the early hours of Wednesday morning, his security team have advised him not to go.
The cites sources in law enforcement for its report with tonight's event marking the big stage debut for UFC.
The bout at Madison Square Garden in New York will be a landmark event for the mixed martial art company as it tries to compete with traditional fighting sports such as boxing.
