A SHOCKING video has captured children chanting a racist slogan at their Latino classmates following the election of Donald Trump.
The clip shows children sitting in a lunch hall and shouting “build that wall” as others look on while their Latino classmates are left crying.
The shocking incident at Royal Oak Middle School in Michigan .
Dee wrote: “This happened today at Royal Oak Middle School in Royal Oak, Michigan.
"It is so sad. Latino children were crying. The taunts, the “build that wall” with such bullying power and hate from children to children. Just horrifying!”
The clips was recorded by 12-year-old Josie Ramon who told the that “tears were running down my face”.
“We addressed this incident when it occurred. We are addressing it today.
“We are working with our students to help them understand the impact of their words and actions on others in their school community.”
Michigan was one of the mid-west states to go red for Trump during his surprise electoral victory on Tuesday night.
Building a wall on the United States’ southern border with Mexico has been one of Trump’s key pledges during the campaign.
He has controversially claimed that Mexico had been sending rapists and drug dealers to the US and assumed only some of the Latinos were “good people”.
