Banksy reveals new artwork showing boy opening curtains painted on side of house has been DESTROYED
BANKSY has claimed a new artwork he painted on the side of a derelict house - but it has already been destroyed.
The anonymous street artist took to Instagram this morning to share an image of a boy pulling open a pair of curtains on the side of a farmhouse in Kent.
Another image showed a digger tearing down the wall of the derelict house, completely destroying his artwork, according to .
He wrote on the post: "Morning is broken."
This afternoon pieces of the art were fished from the rubble and skip bins.
It had originally been on the bricked-up window of a 500-year-old farmhouse near Herne Bay.

The site, previously owned by Blacksole Farms, is earmarked for 67 homes.
Developer Kitewood was given the go-ahead to flatten the farmhouse towards the end of last year.
Workers on the site said they "felt sick" when they learned it was a Banksy mural.
One of the contractors, George Caudwell, said: “We had no idea it was a Banksy.

"It made me feel sick realising it was a Banksy - we were gutted.
"We started demolishing it yesterday."
He said the landowner watched as they tore the building down and didn't realise either.
The metal curtains that feature on the artwork are now in a skip along with the painted bricks, workers said.
It was the first part of the building to go, they added.
This afternoon a Banksy fan watched as the artwork was recovered - in pieces.
Adam Brooks said he rushed straight down to the smashed-up house after seeing the artist's Instagram post.
He told : "I went to have lunch and saw the Banksy post.
"I recognised the building straight away and I was only a minute away so I jumped in my van and went down there.
It was like the holy grail coming out of a skip.

"I spoke to the builders and they said they had seen someone in black on the hill this morning taking a photo of the building but did not think anything of it.
"Since this morning, their bosses have phoned and told them to try and dig out any of the Banksy pieces from the skip."
Adam watched as builders pulled a large chunk of the artwork from the rubble - which was "like finding treasure".
He said: "I have a couple of Banksy prints but not originals.
"To see a piece that had freshly come off a building was pretty cool.
"It was like the holy grail coming out of a skip."
The fan came up with a theory, too - he thought Banksy wanted the work to be destroyed.
Adam continued: "He usually posts his work if he wants people to see it.
"He has obviously been hanging around for it to be demolished so it is obviously his intention that it was destroyed in some way for this particular piece."
