NIGEL Farage met with Donald Trump in New York on Saturday to discuss “freedom and winning” following the President-elect’s unprecedented victory this week.
Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s campaign manager, said the interim UKIP leader met up with the business tycoon at Trump Tower because they “enjoy each other’s company”.
The visit, which comes just three days after Trump’s win, makes Farage the first major British politician to meet Trump following his election victory.
Farage befriended Trump during his election campaign.
Conway told : "All these meetings are incredibly productive."
When asked if he had been personally invited him to Trump Tower, where the President-elect lives and runs his empire, Farage said: “We’re just tourists.”

Speaking on the programme, he said the PM had been “quite rude” about Trump, and urged her to meet with the President-elect as soon as possible, in the hopes of forging a relationship similar to the one Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan enjoyed.
He said: "I think he's got to meet her ... We can have a sensible trade relationship, cut tariffs, we're massive investors in each other's countries.
"There's a bright future."
The meeting comes as it was revealed UKIP voters are most likely to support a Trump Presidency, with two in five having confidence in him as leader of the US.
