Birdwatchers fear nature reserve is being disturbed by nearby noise from ‘swingers club’
TWITCHERS fear rare birds at a nature reserve are having the willies put up them — by noises from a club said to hold parties for swingers.
They claim shrieks and groans from randy revellers are upsetting nesting birds.
One fan added: “People come from all over the county to see rare birds there. It’s usually peaceful.
“But the club plays music — and there are shouts and screams of excitement.”
Frampton Marsh Nature Reserve, Lincs, is home to breeds including avocets, skylarks and turukhtans.
It is described by the RSPB as “one of Europe’s most special places for wildlife”.

Yet 200 yards away is the Pool Shed club. It has held “adult-themed” evenings for more than a decade but has now applied for an alcohol licence.
Locals worry parties — for couples in their 40s and 50s — will attract up to 200 people and continue until 3am.
But club owner Neil Wright insisted: “We do have adult parties here but we don’t provide sex.
“We just provide a safe place for people to meet.

“I don’t need a sex licence as it’s just people who come and meet. The application’s just to sell alcohol.
“They say it’s like a swinging club but it’s not – it’s a nice place for people to meet where there’s a pool, jacuzzi, a bar, and a dance area.”
