Vengeful mob storm police station, yank jail bars open before abducting and hanging child murder suspect

Furious locals refused to wait for his trial and took justice into their own hands.

A mob surged into the police station and can be seen forcing the bars of the jail open before grabbing the suspect.

The vigilantes started pummelling him before they dragged him through the streets.

They then strung him on a tree and hung him.

Outnumbered, police watched helplessly on, unable to stop the public lynching.

The four-year-old victim whose death sparked the killing was not a local but was visiting with her parents for her grandmother's funeral.
