A BRITISH dad has died while snorkelling on holiday with his wife and daughter in the Caribbean.
Andrew Evans, 60, from Wales, arrived in St Kitts on Monday with his family on the P&O cruise ship Britannia.
They were on a 14-day cruise from Barbados to Southampton.
He got into difficulty while snorkelling with his wife and daughter as part of a group activity at Peninsular Cove.
The dad was taken to shore where a fellow tourist performed CPR, but could not be saved and died at the scene.
The Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force told The Sun Online it is investigating the death of the Brit.

"Mr Evans was part of a group of visitors on a snorkelling excursion at Peninsular Cove, when he disappeared and was later seen floating along the coastline," the force said.
"He was rescued on a dinghy and given CPR without success."
An autopsy is being carried out to determine if his cause of death was natural or caused by drowning.
The Foreign Office released a statement: "We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in St Kitts and we are in contact with local authorities over the incident”.
