Teacher admits sexual assault after getting pregnant by student, 13, who she had sex with on ‘almost daily basis’

A TEACHER who got pregnant by her 13-year-old student after they had sex on a “almost daily basis” has pleaded guilty to sexual assault.
Alexandria Vera, 24, from Texas, is now facing a sentence of five years, instead of 25 years.
She could also be released on probation.
According to KTRK, Vera taught eighth grade at the school she was working at in the US and was an English teacher at the Houston’s Stovall Middle School.
She met the teen at summer school in 2015 – they had soon exchanged numbers and her student had invited her to hang out.
According to court documents, Vera went to his house, picked him up and they drove around, which is when they first kissed.
reported it was the following day she went back to his home and the pair had sex for the first time, while his parents were out.
It was claimed Vera’s relationship with her student was accepted by the boy’s parents, and he was seen as her boyfriends.
They allegedly invited her to family gatherings.
Vera told Aldine Independent School District police she had sex with the teen “on almost a daily basis at her home.”
The student allegedly slept at her house, after which she drove him back home in the morning so he could catch the bus to school.
It was in January this year she fell pregnant, and according to documents the teen’s parents were supportive and excited about her having a baby with their son.
However she had an abortion when the Texas Child Protective Services officials showed up at the school where she worked in February to ask her about the relationship.
Vera denied she had done anything wrong – but cops discovered evidence of their relationship on her phone.
As well as being charged with the aggravated sexual assault of a child, she was also facing a charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child.
Her sentencing will be in January.
By pleading guilty, she lowered her possible sentence from a maximum of 25 years to five years, and could potentially be released on probation, according to KTRK.
