Death of father caught up in tot's murder probe is not thought to be suspicious
THE first pictures of the dad found dead at his home after being arrested on suspicion of murdering his infant son have emerged.
Tristan Hicks, 20, and his 22-year-old girlfriend Bryony Johnson were arrested on suspicion of murder in June after their four week old baby son Cooper Johnson-Hicks died after suffering serious injuries.
Devon and Cornwall Police yesterday confirmed Mr Hicks had died at his home in St Blazey, Cornwall, and his death was not being treated as suspicious.
The couple had been on bail.
Devon and Cornwall Police said: "A 20 year old man from Par, who was due to answer police bail in October, was found deceased at a property on Polgrean Place.
''The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file has been prepared for the coroner.
"A 22 year old woman from St Austell has been re-bailed until January 30th 2017, whilst investigations continue".
Cooper was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, after paramedics were called to the family home.
He had suffered serious injuries and died later that day.
