When is Super Mario Run out? Release date and price of Nintendo’s platform game for Apple iOS devices
NINTENDO is to release the eagerly anticipated Super Mario Run today.
Mario's first ever smartphone game was originally announced during an Apple launch event in September.
It is expected to be a massive seller with 20 million already requesting notifications of the game's release.
Industry experts also predict that Super Mario Run could be downloaded between 50 million and 100 million times in its first month alone.

When is Super Mario Run out and what platforms is it available for?
Nintendo announced recently that Super Mario Run launches on iOS on December 15.
Those of you on Android devices will have to wait until 2017.
How much is Super Mario Run?
Although the base game will be free to download, you'll need to pay £7.99 to unlock the full game.
It seems steep considering most mobile games are free but as it is paid for, you won't receive those annoying please for money via in-app purchases.
What is Super Mario Run?
Mario moves forward automatically and users tap the screen to dodge obstacles, avoid enemies, gather coins and reach the end of each course.
The gameplay looks quite similar to other Mario games so be warned - you will have feelings of nostalgia while playing.
You jump by tapping the screen, hopping on top of enemies to defeat them and jumping around collecting coins and power ups.
It is single button you only need one hand, which might prove difficult for those playing on an iPad.
There are three modes in total - standard lets players try their best to finish the various levels and courses, while in the second, players compete against the play data of other people's completed courses.
The third lets players make their own vision of Mushroom Kingdom using assets from the games and coins collected in the course of the first two modes.
Why is Super Mario Run on smartphone?
The game is one of Nintendo’s first forays into smartphone gaming. Two other mobile apps based on Nintendo games — including “Fire Emblem” and “Animal Crossing” — are expected to launch in early 2017.
Nintendo recently announced its latest gaming system, Switch, which combines a portable handheld device and a stationary dock.
It has also created a game called Miitomo, which comes out next year, and there are four more in the pipeline.
The company has a big year with the release of Pokemon Sun and Moon on November 23.
Is Super Mario Run multiplayer?
Yes it is. If you want to battle, game mode Toad Rally lets you get competitive.
You'll race across levels in a time trial to beat your opponent to the end of the level, collecting power ups to boost your score.
