Visitors of cherished Hyde Park attraction taken on Arctic Adventure this year where they travel to a frozen island

A LITTLE girl gazes in awe at a towering sculpture of a polar bear - which is just one of the enchanting sights at this year’s Winter Wonderland.

Organisers have pulled out all the stops for the tenth anniversary of the cherished Hyde Park attraction.

They have created an Arctic Adventure which takes the audience on a voyage across the sea to a frozen island.

Guests will see icebergs, a shipwreck trapped in an arctic ice flow and will be able to explore a lost island on their search for the Palace of the Polar Bears.

You can go fishing with Inuits, take refuge in an igloo and have your photo taken with the polar bear too.

The Wonderland oopens for a six-week run from Friday.

Entrance to the London site is free, but visitors do have to pay for some attractions, which include Zippos Christmas Circus which is housed in the Mega Dome - the biggest circus venue in the UK standing over 65ft tall.

Santa is on site too - where he is free to visit every day until 6pm.

For the evening crowd there are the usual fairground rides and Cirque Beserk - a jaw-dropping show that will leave you gasping.

For over a decade Hyde Park Winter Wonderland has attracted a host of A-listers.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George have paid it a visit alongside Cara Delevingne, Kate Moss, Uma Thurman and Tom Cruise.
