Mum’s horror as son, 5, wandered out of primary school playground and went missing for an HOUR before teachers noticed
The furious mum has now refused to let her little boy return to the school she says breached safety standards

AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a five-year-old boy wandered out of school with his teachers taking an HOUR to realise he was gone.
Little Rico Sangha was left in tears after he wandered across main roads as he tried to get home with his mum now refusing to send him back to the school.
His mum Monica has now spoken out of her shock, saying: "It is honestly every parent's worst nightmare. I wouldn't want anyone to go through it - just the fear."
The five-year-old boy was seen on CCTV footage wandering out of the Dolphin School grounds in Montpelier, Bristol, walking more than a mile as he tried to get to his empty home - eventually finding his way to his grandparent's house.
But when his panicked mum called the school to find out what happened, she found out the teachers had not realised he was missing for 50 minutes.
The single mum is now refusing to return her son to the school, where he only started in September.
She said: "When I first saw him, he was really quiet. It was obvious that he had been crying. He just said 'hello mummy'.
"I think he thought he was in trouble to be honest, and my heart just broke and I started crying.
"I gave him a big hug and told him everything was okay."
The 28-year-old said she was furious to find out her little boy had been able to walk out of the school playground about 1pm on Tuesday.
Monica said she marched straight to the school for answers.

"They said they would offer us support and would welcome Rico back if he wanted.
"But for me there are no excuses, I am just so angry as to how this could have happened in the first place.
"There is no way that I would send him back to that school and I want to escalate this complaint to the highest level."
The distraught mum said she had lost her faith, confidence and trust in the school, saying they had breached safety policies.
A spokesman for the school, run by the CGS Trust, said: "On Tuesday afternoon a child left The Dolphin School premises unsupervised. The child is safe and well.
"An internal investigation in underway to identify the issues that allowed this incident to occur.
"We have already put in place further risk assessments to ensure that our children are kept secure, including plans to upgrade the perimeter fencing as soon as possible.
"We take the safeguarding of children extremely seriously and policies are regularly reviewed to ensure that children are kept safe at all times.
"Alongside increased security, all staff will be required to attend additional safeguarding training, above and beyond the regulatory standards."
