Devastated parents of tragic car crash teen agree to donate organs

THE devastated parents of a teenage girl killed in a car crash have agreed to donate her organs.
Talaina Hussain, 18, suffered head injuries when the car she was in hit a wall on Monday.
She died on Wednesday after a lengthy battle by doctors to save her. But her mum and dad have vowed her death will not be in vain and allowed her organs to go to others who need them.
A GoFundMe website for funeral contributions for the parents, of Rochdale, Gtr Manchester, said: “Her heart of gold will live on in someone else.”
The page has already raised £3,500 towards the costs, and heartfelt tributes to Talaina have poured in.

Police appealed for witnesses to the crash.
Talaina's personal tutor at Hopwood Hall College, Nicola Kelly, said: “Talaina was the life and soul of her class and an excellent role model who will be dearly missed.
“I will always hold fond memories of her, she was a truly excellent student.”
Another teacher, Carole Fallon, said: “Talaina was always very supportive with her peers and a well-liked individual across the whole of the college community.”
