A MURDERED teacher’s suspected killer fiancé has been found dead in a reservoir.
Cops hunting for David Yates, 36, revealed they had pulled a body from the lake at Mugdock Country Park, near Glasgow.
He is thought to have slain mum-to-be Marelle Sturrock, 35, at their city flat on Tuesday.
Yates was being treated as a missing person after his partner Marelle, 35, was found dead at a flat in Glasgow they shared together.
Earlier today, police confirmed that Yates was suspected of murdering her as they continued searching for him.
They had been scouring parts of Mugdock Country Park, which is around nine miles away from their home.
Officers have now revealed that a body of a man has been recovered from the Mugdock Reservoir today.
Formal identification has yet to take place but Yates' family has been informed.
They added that the investigation remains ongoing but nothing has been established so far to suggest anyone else was involved in her death.
Reports will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
