Teenager charged after children find skull in plastic bag in garden
A TEENAGER has been charged after a skull was found in a garden in Aberdeen.
Two children made the disturbing discovery in a plastic bag in their garden yesterday afternoon.
Cops were scrambled to the Heathryfold Place area of the city after the youngsters' grim find,
The area was locked down for five hours after the remains were found.
Tegan Mayall told the paper how her son Noah, 4, was one of the kids who found the skull.
The 25-year-old said: “They both ran over to the side of the garden and grabbed this bag and we weren’t sure what was in it, so me and her mum tipped the bag out to see what it was.
“The kids were messing about with it because they thought it was a Halloween decoration because that’s what it looked like.”
She added: "It’s not what you expect to find in a garden.”
She went onto say how some youngsters have been "traumatised" by the incident.
Cops later confirmed a teenager had been arrested and charged over an alleged theft from a church.
