Man arrested after manhunt through Europe following violent death
A MURDER suspect arrested after a manhunt across Europe had tattooed the date he allegedly killed his partner on his arm along with the message 'thanks for everything'.
Cops released pictures of the grisly inking, which showed his partner Lisa's name, date of birth and the date of her death alongside the message "Gracias Por Todo" - Spanish for "thanks for everything".
Footage was also released of the suspect's dramatic detention at a hotel in the Costa Brava following a manhunt across Europe.
The man was arrested in his boxer shorts after he posted a selfie on the alleged victim's Facebook page.
The fugitive is suspected of slitting his girlfriend’s throat at the end of last month and leaving her body in rubbish bags at their home in the Bavarian town of Freyung.

It is alleged he fled with the couple's toddler child who was discovered safe and well during the arrest and has been taken into local authority care.
The suspect was named in Germany as Dominik Riedl while on the run, but Spanish police have not confirmed this is the man arrested.
The 22-year-old suspect will now go before a judge in Madrid for an extradition hearing.
Spanish National Police confirmed in a statement: “Spanish National Police have arrested a German fugitive suspected of slitting his girlfriend’s throat and fleeing to Spain with his 18-month-old son.
“The crime he was wanted for took place at the end of last month when German police found the body of the victim, a woman aged 20, in rubbish bags at the couple’s home.”
Spanish police were tipped off early on in the investigation that he could be in Spain.
Police continued: “When he was arrested the alleged killer was sporting several tattoos, including one with the name of his partner, her date of birth, a cross with the date of 27 October 2016 and the inscription ‘Gracias por todo’ in Spanish.
“This most recent and macabre one with the October 27th date on it can be interpreted as the date of her death.”
Special ops police, who last year were used to rescue two kidnap victims as well as detaining a French fugitive in a shopping centre, carried out the arrest.
Spanish police claim the alleged victim's phone was taken so her social media profiles could be updated in a bid to throw officers off the scent.
A Volkswagen Golf has been seized and will be examined for possible clues by specialist forensic officers.
He is thought to be facing up to 15 years in jail if found guilty of her homicide.
