A BRIT banker who murdered two prostitutes was obsessed with the book American Psycho.
Rurik Jutting, 31, “hero- worshipped” its main character and copied his killing methods.
Both he and fictional banker Patrick Bateman — played by Christian Bale in the 2000 movie — raped and tortured their victims for days before cutting their throats.
A former school pal of Jutting at £36,000-a-year Winchester College said: “American Psycho was his favourite book, he’d read it again and again.
“He absolutely loved the main character.
“You can see how he copied scenes from the book and tried to model himself on Bateman.”

Cambridge graduate Jutting even filmed one attack, just as Bateman does in the Bret Easton Ellis novel.
In a recording played to the court in Hong Kong, Jutting says to the camera: “I just killed, murdered, this woman here.
“I held her captive.
“I raped her repeatedly.
“I tortured her badly.”
The Merrill Lynch banker, originally of Cobham, Surrey, had pleaded insanity but was sentenced to life for the two murders earlier this month.
