Mum is ‘raped, burned and IMPALED by gang of sex beasts during savage gang attack in Colombia’

A HELPLESS woman has been left in a coma after her she was allegedly raped, impaled and burned by a gang of depraved attackers.

The 44-year-old, who cannot be named, is said to be in a critical condition after her badly injured body was discovered by her son.

The alleged rape victim, who worked as a maid, was decorating a flat for extra cash when she is said to have been set upon by intruders.

Her son alerted relatives after he had repeatedly tried to call his mum but couldn't get through.

He found her in the flat the next morning, unconscious, badly beaten and abused, according to reports.

Her relatives have said that locals in the city of Buga, western Columbia, have been sickened by the attack.

It is alleged the victim had traces of faeces around her mouth and her body had numerous burn marks on it.

Her sister said: "As part of the abuse, she was impaled, they burned her body, they disgraced her."

She refused to give further details on how her sister was impaled but medical staff say they have identified heavy injuries around her genitals.

The woman underwent several rounds of surgery but doctors were forced to place her in an induced coma due to the extent of her injuries.

Police are investigating but no details of any suspects have been released.

Dilian Francisca Toro, the governor of the Valle del Cauca Department, where the incident took place, issued a 20-million COP (5,085 GBP) reward to anyone who can help with catching the attackers.
