Gang of thirty SCHOOLCHILDREN ambush and beat up two police officers after school in London
The cops had spotted a youth with a large knife but were viciously attacked when they tried to investigate
POLICE were savagely attacked by a mob of 30 schoolchildren in a London street attack.
The male and female officers had confronted a boy with a large knife but were brutally turned against by the huge group - which included children wearing school uniforms.
The officers, who had tried to search the boy, were left battered and bruised in the Wednesday afternoon attack.
The male officer was punched repeatedly and with such force he fell to the ground near the junction of Goodwood Road and New Cross Road, southeast London.
When the female officer tried to step in, she was also attacked and punched in the jaw.

But the fierce attack didn't end there, with the school children then kicking the fallen male officer while he was on the ground.
The man was left with serious bruising and a concussion, with the officer taken to hospital as a precaution.
His mobile phone was also damaged in the attack.

Detective Sergeant Jenny White said: "I'm appealing to anyone who witnessed this shocking attack on two officers to come forward and speak with us, particularly anyone with mobile phone footage of the incident.
"It happened at a very busy time of the day and there would've been a large number of people in the area.
"These officers go to work every day to keep the public safe and this demonstrates the dangers the police can face while carrying out these duties."
A boy, 15, was arrested at the scene, on suspicion of actual bodily harm and was taken to a south-London police station, after the incident on Wednesday, November 9th, at around 4pm.
He has been bailed to a date in mid-December.
A Lewisham Council spokesperson told The Sun Online: "The Council and local schools are assisting the police with their enquiries now that they’ve been informed of this shocking incident."
Police have now urged members of the public who witnessed the attack and captured it on their mobile phones, to come forward and speak to police.
