Restaurant fires off VERY sassy response after diner says portions ‘wouldn’t feed a mouse’ – but did they go too far?
A RESTAURANT owner has hit back after a customer complained that their portion size "wouldn't feed a mouse".
The customer complained on Tripadvisor after visiting the Secret Sicilian Italian restaurant in Harborne for afternoon tea.
They said the portion sizes were "not acceptable" and that they had to visit Greggs for more food.
But the owner has fired off a sassy response.
The response said: “The price reflects the afternoon tea served for the Wowcher offer.
"We are very generous with the quality as our products are not cheap."

The initial customer review said: “We waited 45 minutes for food, which wouldn’t feed a mouse, the portions were not acceptable. We had to go to Greggs after to fill us up.
“The food was ridiculous to be classed as an afternoon tea.”
The restaurant's response in full read: “The price reflects the afternoon tea served for the Wowcher offer. We are very generous with the quality as our products are not cheap.
“The portion is perfect for two, I am sorry to hear this wasn’t shared equally. We do hope, asides to the food, you had a wonderful experience as the rest of your party.

The restaurant has a score of 4.0 on Tripadvisor with many other positive reviews.
