A MUM and dad whose five-year-old girl died in a house blaze are in “unimaginable pain”, neighbours say.
Alysia Salisbury's parents managed to rescue her two older siblings but could not save her from the flames.
The fire ripped through the family home in Pembrokeshire, west Wales, shortly before 10pm on Saturday.
Alycia tragically died of her injuries at the scene in Pontyglasier.
Neighbouring farmer John Davies said he had tried to console the Salisburys in the hours following the tragedy.
Mr Davies, who is also a Pembrokeshire councillor, said: "As a community, our hearts go out this local family.
"I have spoken to the parents and they are going through unimaginable pain right now and they will be for a long time to come.
"The family moved here around four years ago and although they are very private people, they have become part of our community.
"They had all been inside the house when the fire started. It is an unbelievable tragedy."
In a statement released by Dyfed-Powys Police, the parents described Alysia as “a beautiful daughter and sister”.
