POKEMON GO has introduced a new reason to return to the game after interest has started to die down.

A new character, Ditto, is ready to be caught in the online world and it has special powers which would make any trainer hard to defeat.

What is Ditto and how to catch it?

Ditto is a creature that can become any other Pokémon .

So it could be right in front of a trainer and they would not even notice, as it is disguised as a dull and uninteresting Pidgey or Ratatta.

Players who want to snare a Ditto need to be patient and try their luck with any Pokémon they come across, as after they have caught it they might be pleasantly surprised.

If someone else has caught one in the area it will show up, taunting you, but otherwise you will not be able to see it as it will be using the disguise.

What to do when you have caught one?

The new species is such a big deal because not only can it transform itself to look like another Pokémon , it is able to use their moves too.

So every time you battle at the gym you will be able to use all kinds of moves with only one Pokémon .

So get back out into Pokémon Go and get hunting for Ditto.

But remember to be careful while out catching Pokemon and be aware of your surroundings.

Does Pokémon Sun and Moon (the new game) link to Pokémon Go?

It would appear so.

There are links between the two games that will allow Pokémon Go fans to transfer Pokémon from the Niantic app to Pokemon Sun and Moon as part of an upcoming update.

Pokémon Sun and Moon code suggests that Pokemon will be transferrable from Pokemon Go.

The Pokémon leak backs up previous comments made by Pokémon Sun and Moon game director Junichi Masuda, who said that there would be a link between Pokémon Go and the upcoming 3DS games.
