SHOCKING footage has emerged of a drunk man repeatedly falling over as he attempts to flee the scene of an accident.

Filmed in China, the video starts with the sozzled gent lying on the ground after reportedly crashing his scooter.

He struggles to get to his feet, he spills the contents of his satchel over the ground.

But no sooner has the booze-guzzling road hog stood up – he topples over again after trying to get on his bike.

Onlookers can be heard shouting at him to stop but no one intervenes.

And much to the astonishment of the watching crowd, the inebriated road pest eventually manages to drive away.

Uploaded to video sharing platform LiveLeak, the clip has already sparked a barrage of comments from stunned users.

One commentor pointed out that the man was not wearing a safety helmet.

While another added: “Someone should have taken the key from him.”

One user wrote: “Can't walk, can't even stand, but can somehow still ride.”
