Police found her body near her kennels in the village of Tetsworth near Thame, Oxon, on October 31.

One of Lucy’s neighbours in Bayswater, West London, said: “It has come as a real shock because she was still quite young.

“There are lots of different rumours flying round. We have been told that it could have been health problems. But others are saying it is something more sinister.

“She was a bit of a local celebrity round here. Everyone knew her. She was a lovely woman. It’s extremely sad.”
