Fears grow for woman, 30, missing from Axminster for over 36 hours as sister says she’s ‘high risk’

FEARS are growing for the safety of a woman who has not been seen for more than 36 hours.

Melissa Winn, 30, was last seen near the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital on Monday.

Police are now pleading with the public to help find the 30-year-old, who is from Axminster.

Her sister is also urging people to keep an eye out, describing Melissa as high-risk.

Taking to Facebook she wrote: "Please can everyone share to get her home, social media is golden for this sort of thing. The police have now said she will be down as a high-risk missing person.

"Close friends, contacts of contacts. She knows most people in most towns she must be somewhere, anywhere."

Melissa is described as 4ft 10 in height with brown and blonde shoulder-length hair.

At the time she vanished she was wearing an orange jumper and light blue jeans.

The cops said she also has links to Lyme Regis.

Devon and Cornwall Police said: "If you have seen her or know of her current whereabouts please call 999 quoting log number 288 13th June."
