Two charged with attempted murder after plain clothes cop was ‘stabbed in an alley beside East London pub’
Man and a woman in custody over alleged assault, while teen lad quizzed over stabbing has been released on bail
TWO people have been charged after a plain clothes police officer was stabbed in an alley behind a pub.
Andrew Beadie, 20, from Essex, and Janine Morris, 24, from east London, have both been charged with attempted murder and affray.

The officer is in hospital with serious injuries after the knife horror during an undercover operation last night in East London.
The officer, aged in his 40s, works for Scotland Yard's Specialist Crime and Operations Unit and was taking part in "a pre-planned operation" when he was knifed near the Bow Bells pub.
Morris has also been charged with assisting an offender.
A 17-year-old boy arrested yesterday on suspicion of attempted murder has since been bailed until January.

London Air Ambulance medics treated the officer in the street before he was taken to hospital, where he remains.
Scotland Yard Temporary Deputy Assistant Commissioner Richard Martin said today: “Fortunately, the officer is recovering well in hospital, as his injuries could have been a lot worse.
“I’d like to appeal for any information or witnesses to the attack that took place.
"If you saw or heard anything that may help us catch the people responsible then please get in touch.”
