Teen boy, 16, and woman, 43, arrested on suspicion of murder after body of man, 74, found at Coventry home

A 16-year-old boy and a 43-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a 74-year-old man was found at a home in Coventry.

Cops are now investigating at the scene of the elderly man's death, with the pair remaining in custody.

Coventry Police said: "We have arrested two people on suspicion of murder after the body of a 74-year-old man was found at an address in Coventry.

"We were called to Bowness Close yesterday and a 43-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy have now been arrested.

"They both remain in custody while our investigation continues.

"Our officers are remaining at the scene today to carry out further enquiries."
