Tideswell crash: Tesla driver arrested after 11 including 6 teens hurt after being hit by car on way home from festival
A TESLA driver has been arrested after 11 people were hit by a car on the way home from a festival.
Six teens are among the injured after the horror smash in Tideswell in the Peak District on Saturday evening.
Witnesses say the car was driving erratically on the road before plowing into the victims and a tree.
The injured had been leaving the village's annual Carnival Day.
Police say a man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
They later raided a property in the village and found “a quantity of class A drugs” with the suspect “further arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply”.
Cops also confirmed the driver had been behind the wheel of a Tesla.
