Sports Minister tweets that Tory colleague Michael Gove is a ‘t*****’ – but it was just a ploy to get more followers
Tracey Crouch made the joke after the former Education Secretary gave her some social media advice
THE SPORTS Minister has joked that her Tory colleague Michael Gove is a “t*****” in a joke about getting more followers on Twitter.
Tracey Crouch said the former Education Secretary had given her advice on how to grow her audience on social media.
Leading Brexiteer Mr Gove had told her “you're supposed to tag someone with more followers than you and be rude about them”.
Ms Crouch than added: “T*****.”
After some confusion as to her true feelings about her former ministerial colleague, she confirmed it was just a “joke”.
And Mr Gove seemed not to take it to heart, calling the 41-year-old a “superwoman”.
The Tory MP tweeted in response: “I would follow Tracey Crouch anywhere - she's the quintessence of loveliness - wise, witty and a great football coach.”
