I earn £56,000 a year but I’ve been forced to live in my car for months because people think my job is untrustworthy

A TIKTOK star has revealed that he is having to live in his car despite earning £56,000 because people don't trust his job.

Isaac Richman attracts millions of views with his prank videos and has a steady job in construction too, but claims that estate agents don't believe he has the money for a deposit or rent.

for five months as the housing crisis bites.

He told The Sun Online: "It's funny that I have a job and earn an extra income but still can't get a house.

"I feel like I don't know who [landlords] want in their house...I'm on a decent income, if I can't get a place then how can someone on an average wage?

"It's not a fair game for the renter."

Isaac, who goes by moretalentlesslimited on , has gone viral several times with videos pranking commuters on the London Underground.

His most common ruse is to convince passengers that they are breaking non-existent rules, with the videos netting him around £1,000 a month across .

He added that he suspects being a solo male tenant is affecting his chances, especially as he claimed many of the properties he sees on rental sites are advertised for female renters only.

The online star also feels that the rental market is too one-sided, with hundreds of pounds worth of holding deposits meaning that he can't make offers on multiple properties at once in case one falls through.

Isaac also claimed that the months of mobile living have been "tough" on his physical health, but the fact that he has no fixed address has meant he has only just been able to register with a GP.

He said: "I've stayed in AirBnBs, hotels, backpacking hostels.

"I basically stayed anywhere I could just to be able to sleep horizontally.

"I'm 6ft 3in and my car is tiny so I can't lie down properly.

"Mentally nothing can break me...it's just harder for life in general."

After his struggles with the rental market, he has spent the last few months getting his accounts in order and saving up for a deposit so he can apply for a mortgage.

He is hopeful that buying a place will be easier if he can afford to, as he won't be reliant on approval from a landlord.

Isaac also slammed London Mayor Sadiq Khan, saying: "There are a lot of things wrong with London.

"I understand the problems Londoners face and Sadiq Khan doesn't, I think.

"I don't think Londoners appreciate Sadiq Khan."

Once his housing situation is sorted, he plans to run for mayor himself to try and improve the circumstances of residents of the capital.
