THIS is the moment Just Stop Oil eco-yobs leapt onto the stage at The Royal Albert Hall during the opening night of BBC Proms.

The two protesters tried to interrupt the performance as they waved their signature orange flag.

The pair of eco-idiots tried speaking to the shocked audience shortly after the BBC Symphony Orchestra's rendition of Sibelius's Finlandia.

But, they were swiftly removed by security as the auditorium was filled with boos and cheers.

Just Stop Oil eco-zealots claim their latest nuisance protest comes after a lack of climate change coverage from the BBC.

The eco-yobs Tweeted about the event and captioned their statement: "We Cannot Afford to Fiddle While Rome Burns".

One of the protesters, Kate Logan, 38, from London, told the : "Many years ago, I sang with a youth choir at the Albert Hall, never imagining I would one day disrupt a performance here to draw attention to the planetary crisis we find ourselves in."

By her side was Pia Bastide, 29, also from London, who said: "I'm sorry to harp on about it, but business as usual isn't working anymore.

"Last week, the Secretary General of the United Nations said the climate crisis is 'out of control.

"I refuse to accept that my future is being sold away, one new oil licence at a time, and do nothing."

A BBC Spokesperson said: “There was no disruption to the concert or the broadcast during the few seconds the protesters were on stage.”

This comes as one woman clashed with other eco-yobs on Thursday as yet another protest blocked roads and caused chaos for ordinary Brits.

The Just Stop Oil protesters donned their high-vis in London again, slowing traffic with signs in hand.

The eco-idiots on Friday held up motorists on London's Marylebone Street - including a fuming mum who gave them a piece of her mind.

Footage showed the agitated woman, who said she and her kids were off on a much-needed holiday, trying to get the protestors out of the way so her car could get past.

And, last week the protestors caused chaos at Wimbledon twice - invading two matches in less than three hours.

The protestors first stormed Court 18 in the middle of play around 2pm, hurling orange confetti and puzzle pieces onto the turf.

Just Stop Oil's Wimbledon chaos came just days after one of their protesters was carried off the cricket pitch at Lords by Jonny Bairstow.
