Kids at Santa’s grotto event accidentally given PENIS-shaped toys by Salvation Army
CHILDREN at a Santa's grotto event were accidentally given PENIS shaped toys by the Salvation Army.
The Christian charity were forced to apologise after phallic elastic bands ended up in the children's goodies.
Parents from Pill, Somerset, commented on their mishap online.
Emma Powell, posting in the Facebook Daily Pill Group, said: "Parents of Pill if your child got elastic band shapes from Salvation Army Santa tonight be careful my daughter just found these lmao."
James Keenan commented: "What a balls up!"
David Grace added: "Must be a cock-up."
"From the Sally Army that makes it even funnier," said Nicola Yates.
Salvation Army Officer Nicholas Ward later posted an apology for the error, stating: "It has come to our attention that some children received inappropriate toys from Father Christmas at tonight's 'Santa's Grotto'.
"We are very sorry for this and will take this issue up with the Christmas Lights committee, who provide the toys for Father Christmas to distribute.
"That said, we would like to thank Santa for his time and for all the families who shared in our Winter Wonderland.
