The Suits actress, who is dating the British royal, posted a cute snap of rescue dog Guy snuggled up in a Union Jack sweater

PRINCE Harry’s girlfriend, Meghan Markle, has shared an adorable picture of her rescue puppy in a Union Jack sweater.

The Suits actress took to Twitter to post a picture of her ginger beagle Guy in her older dog’s cute outfit which bears the British national flag.

She wrote: “For the love of hand-me-downs. This was Bogart’s sweater as a puppy. Now it’s keeping Guy warm. #puppylove #adoptdontshop #reducereuserecycle.”

One fan replied: “Proper little British dude!!!”

While another another added: “Second time scrolling through the tweets and I just noticed the sweater’s pattern. Had to chuckle.”

It comes after her Royal boyfriend Harry, 32, visited a children’s home to mark the end of his 15-day tour of the Caribbean – where he visited Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, and St Vincent and the Grenadines.

He has taken part in a wide range of events including meeting pop singer Rihanna in Barbados to promote World Aids Day, releasing baby turtles into the sea in St Kitts and Nevis, and visiting Guyana’s rainforest and Kaieteur Falls.

Earlier this month, Meghan, posted a cute snap of rescue dogs Guy and Bogart snuggled up together on her Instagram page.

She captioned the picture: “A moment of zen #adoptdontshop #weekend”.

The Queen is also a dog lover and has owned more than 30 corgis during her 64-year reign.

Meghan has spoken about her love for the pet pooches in the past after chat show host Ellen DeGeneres convinced her to adopt Labrador/Shepherd mix Bogart.

The actress said: “Bogs is about three years old now and I started to see that he loves the company of people, but just like I love the company of dogs, I don’t want to be around solely dogs all day long so I realised he might like to have a companion.

“Guy is a Beagle and 17 pounds. He’s probably about 4- or 5-years-old based on his teeth. They are thick as thieves those two.”
