Girl kidnapped and gang-raped by three men as she walked to school in Rajasthan
A SCHOOLGIRL was kidnapped and gang-raped by three men while on her way to school, cops have said.
The class 9 student, who attends school in Rajasthan, was driven to a forest by the suspects where they allegedly took it in turns to rape her.
The girl's age was not specified but she is thought to be a teenager.
Local police said a case has been filed on Wednesday night against the trio for kidnapping and rape.
Cops added that one of the men is allegedly known to the girl.
Investigations are ongoing to find the three suspects, who are on the run from police, reported.

The harrowing video of the alleged attacks by hundreds of young men on the two women has triggered outrage and protests across the violence-stricken state of Manipur.
Police stated that the assaults occurred on May 4, with the footage only going viral last month.

It shows two naked women surrounded by a large group of men - alleged to be nearly 1000 - who groped them and dragged them to a field.
Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh said that arrests had been made, without specifying the number of people who were apprehended.
"A thorough investigation is currently underway and we will ensure strict action is taken against all the perpetrators, including considering the possibility of capital punishment," Singh said.
