One man collapsed at the huge venue and was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow but he died a short time after admission.

The second man was found after taking unwell at Croy railway station in Lanarkshire.

He was taken to the nearby University Hospital Monklands in Airdrie but tragically he could not be revived.

One line of inquiry being pursued by cops is that the deaths are drugs related - and further inquiries will be carried out to establish if the narcotics were from the same batch.

A source said: “This is every parent’s worst nightmare - their kids going out for a great time and not coming home.

“These deaths are very similar in nature and both men were at the same venue at the same time.

“It’s imperative to establish any further links, including if the toxic substances come from the same person.”

The sold-out event kicked off at the Galvanisers Yard part of the complex at 2pm on Saturday with Schak and Hannah Laing the support for Helmsley, who often plays shows in Ibiza.
