Adorable video of penguins wearing Christmas jumpers as they waddle down the street is the cutest thing you’ll see this festive period
The adorable birds were seen wrapped up in red Santa outfits waddling around Matsue Vogel Park in Japan
A FLOCK of penguins dressed in Christmas outfits is bringing festive cheer to people visiting a Japanese park.
Visitors at Matsue Vogel Park, in Shimane, were treated to a penguin Christmas parade in which six of the adorable birds were seen wrapped up in red and white Santa outfits waddling along the streets.
Onlookers were seen taking photos and videos on their phones as the penguin strolled.
A clip of the cute spectacle, which was posted on Facebook, shows the group waddling in different directions as a birdkeeper tries to keep them in line.
With over 94,000 likes on Facebook, the video has proved to be a hit on social media.
But others questioned the treatment of the penguins calling dressing the animals up as "cruel".
One user wrote: "This is not cute, poor things haven't got a choice here, ditch the jackets and let them be natural cute penguins."
Another viewer added: "Disgusting....these are or should be wild birds not toys!"
The birds are a popular part of the park and it's not the first time they've been dressed up before going on a little walk.
