Victim of travellers’ site double stabbing was pictured with disgraced boxing champ Tyson Fury two weeks ago
Father Barry Street, who met the boxer at a recent dinner, was one of two people who died from stab wounds after the incident in Ipswich
TWO men were stabbed to death at a travellers' site which is now being guarded by armed police.
Father-of-three Barry Street, 32, and Nathan Oakley, 18, died yesterday after an altercation at the West Meadows site in Ipswich, where they both lived.
A 17-year-old boy, arrested on suspicion of murder, was still in custody today being quizzed by detectives.
Mr Street was killed just two weeks after he proudly posed for a photograph with former world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury.
The picture which he posted as his Facebook profile was taken at a £100-a-head dinner in Gorleston near Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, where Fury was guest of honour.
Mr Street was jailed for 14 years at Ipswich Crown Court in 2006 for leading a gang which stole £500,000 in a string of ram raids and armed robberies across East Anglia.
Police confirmed a man aged in his 30s was stabbed at the West Meadows site at around 1.15pm on Thursday.
Cops said Mr Street was found bleeding with serious wounds at the entrance to the council-run site beside the A14 slip road at Whitehouse in north Ipswich.
He was taken by ambulance to the city's hospital around four miles away, but later died from his wounds.
