Shocking Snapchat video shows former Calais Jungle migrant teen moments after being fatally stabbed on London street

The horrific footage is being probed by cops as part of their murder investigation

SHOCKING video footage has emerged showing a former child migrant's body lying in a pool of blood with passers-by trying to save him after he was stabbed to death outside university halls last week.

Khalid Safi, 18, was fatally knifed outside a University of the Arts accommodation block in London last Thursday night.

Earlier today it was revealed Khalid was a former child refugee who stayed at the Jungle camp in Calais, France, on his way to the UK.

Following the teenager's death last Thursday, a horrific Snapchat clip has emerged showing what The Sun online understands to be the moments leading up to, and after, he was stabbed.

In the video, which we have passed to police as potential evidence in the murder investigation, you can see a darkened street, presumed to be the scene of the crime in Acton, west London, while the person taking the footage is walking along it.

The shocking Snapchat clip then shows a group of people huddled around a body lying in a pool of blood on the ground.

The caption over the top of the footage then says: "Thats what happens when I f** wiv me".

As the camera moves closer you can see someone hunched over the teenager's body, his face and hands covered in blood, with the person presumably checking for a pulse.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police, which is investigating Khalid's death, said: "Police are aware of this video clip and are investigating the circumstances behind it.

"Anyone with information should ring the incident room on 020 8721 4054. To give information anonymously contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

Friends of the teenager earlier told the he had come to the UK five years ago, after staying at the camp in Calais.

Akii Ahmadzai, 20, said: "He came here for a better and more peaceful life but he was still murdered. It shows that you’re not safe anywhere."

He described his friend as a "lovely guy who never had anything bad in his heart".

It is believed Khalid had lived with foster parents in London, Peterborough and Birmingham recently returning to the capital to work in his uncle's shop.

Another friend said he met Khalid in the camp before they came to the UK.

On December 1 police were called to Victoria Road, Acton, at about 6.30pm to reports of a fight.

Cops found Khalid suffering from a stab wound to the heart, he later died in hospital.

A 19-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and bailed until early January 2017.

Detective Chief Inspector Sam Price, who is leading the investigation for the Homicide and Major Crime Command, said: "There were a lot of people in the area of Victoria Road at the time of the incident and, while we have spoken to several people, I believe that not everyone has come forward at this time.

"I am continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the fatal stabbing or the moments leading up to it to contact officers in the incident room.

"I would urge anyone who can assist our investigation to come forward as soon as possible."

The Jungle camp was demolished in October.
