STREET OF SHAME

I live on UK’s ‘WORST’ street – people use it like a toilet every day in front of my kids & there’s needles everywhere

A MUM has told how she lives on the UK’s ‘worst’ street - with people using it as a toilet every day.

Beata Betty, 38, says she is sick of seeing human faeces and used drug needles in the alleyway in Zion Gardens, Brighton.

She is now calling on the council and cops to clamp down on the behaviour.

Beata told the : “It’s a complete nightmare, I think it’s the worst alleyway in Brighton.

“My children see this every day, it’s happening all the time. The alleyway is like a toilet.

“There’s drug addicts and crackheads there every day. My children play in this area and they do it in front of them.”

It comes after other Brighton residents slammed the seaside town - as it becomes a cesspit of unsavoury daytrippers in the summer months.

Actress Kate Thomas told The Sun: "Some daytrippers seem to have no respect for the fact that this is someone’s home. They just see it as a party town.

“There are areas of the city I avoid entirely because I know that they’re a hotbed for hen and stag dos.

“West Street, one of the main shopping streets, is lined with tipsy groups tottering about in heels while local businesses tout for custom outside bars.

"It’s more like the Magaluf strip than a historical seaside town.”

She adds: “The pier is a no-go zone for the entire summer season, as it is packed with holidaymakers.

"There’s barely room to move. As soon as they’ve had a few drinks, they become rowdy and sometimes violent.”

The Sun has contacted Brighton and Hove council for comment.
