UK weather: Brits soak up glorious 25C sunshine on last day before kids go back to school… and it’s set to last all week

BRITS are basking in glorious sunshine on the last day of the school holidays - and the warm weather is set to continue.
The mercury is rising and temperatures are set to hit 25C today as kids across the country enjoy their final day of freedom.
Families and friends have headed for the beach to enjoy what could be one of the final days of summer weather.
According to the latest information from the Met Office the warm spell is set to last for several days.
A weather system from Europe looks set to make for some of the warmest weather since July.
In a Tweet from the official Met Office account, the weather experts said: "Temperatures will be notably above average for many of us over the coming week.
"We could even climb towards 30°C in parts of southern England - something we haven't seen since 7 July."
Grahame Madge, Met Office spokesman, said "most parts of the UK will expect to see fine and settled weather with some approaching heatwave conditions" during that time.
He added: "Because of the energy, heat, and moisture that tropical storms contain, they are significant disruptors of the North Atlantic atmosphere.
"Hurricane Franklin is pushing high pressure our way.
"We are likely to see heatwave conditions in some of the UK.
"By and large, most people will be in for a fine and sunny week possibly edging into next weekend.
"The clarity of the breakdown of these weather events is uncertain because of the impact of tropical cyclones."
It comes after the UK was battered with wet and windy weather for much of the summer months.
And three 30-mile flood alerts were issued by officials on Wednesday.
