Southern Rail strikes spark MORE chaos as firm tells passengers not to travel tomorrow despite today’s appeal against action
The train company has told commuters not to try and board trains, regardless of the appeal outcome
SOUTHERN Railways have advised passengers NOT to travel tomorrow - despite a Court of Appeal hearing on strike action today.
The train company has told commuters not to try and board trains, regardless of the appeal outcome.
It comes as a Court of Appeal hearing is set to try and obtain an injunction against the drivers' strikes, set to begin at midnight.
Southern says as the court's decision will be announced later this afternoon, it will be too late to get trains and drivers in the correct position for tomorrow.
It said any services it can run will be extremely limited.
For this reason, passengers are still advised not to travel.
