In fact, hundreds are calling for her to overthrow The Donald as Time’s Person of the Year.

The 28-year-old had the brilliant idea after moving into her first home with boyfriend Joe.

She said: “We ordered the fridge and Joe said it came with a wine cooler section and I said, ‘Or we could put it in the water dispenser.’ It seemed to make perfect sense.”

Clare posted step-by-step instructions for the scientific hack on Twitter.

Luckily, the most strenuous part is unscrewing the bottle.

To create your miraculous water-into-wine refrigerating system, simply pour a bottle of plonk into the water tub in your fridge.

Grab a glass and simply push down on the water button.

Clare said the hack has been working “perfectly” since installing it in her home.

Sadly the fun had to come to an end.

“We finished off the bottle and washed it out so it’s back to water now. Not sure if it would work if you left it for a while, though,” she said.

But the hack has been retweeted hundreds of thousands of times since she posted the snaps online.

And it’s had a brilliant response, with one booze hound claiming Clare had “saved 2016”.

Another added that her tip will “absolutely revolutionise my life”.
